Were you doing your daily swagbucks search to finish your daily tasks, and discovered there was a new Swagbucks App? I'm guessing you did, because that's how it happened for me when I clicked Daily Search. The query for the day was play swag iq and win cash prizes. The day before it was just swag iq.
So far it looks pretty good, but it only works with android 5+ devices, so this is something I know a lot of people may be sad to see. If only android was more forgiving of older devices!
Oh, well, not much we can do here. So for those of you that do have a compatible device then you may want to give it a try, it could be a fun way to earn SB.

Right now the reviews on google play aren't so good. Last checked it was a 2.9/5 which isn't the greatest. There are a large number of 5 star ratings however, but there are an almost equal amount of 1 star ratings which accounts for the 2.9 rating. The lower ratings seem to be due to techinical difficulties the users experience.
Do technical difficulties on a new app merit a 1 star review? What do you think about that?
However, the ones that are able to use it seem to be enjoying it, mentioning that it is a fun new way to earn SB. More specifically they mention they enjoy being able to earn SB by answering trivia.
There has been one update already as of February 23, 2018, which puts the app already up to version 1.2.2b, so updates are being actively made as we speak.
This will probably continue to happen as the app reaches 100k installs. At the time of this reporting it is around 10,000 - 50,000 installs.

Outside of the daily search, we are seeing it promoted through the Swag code, which came through the SB chrome extension. Though it looks like SB's mobile apps also received push notifications for this code as well. Clicking the code alert takes you to this page:
